The Big Three Takes on Muirfield Village

If you ask him, yes, Jack Nicklaus does see some of himself in today's best Tour players.

During a press conference ahead of this week's Memorial Tournament, the Golden Bear was asked to compare his era of winning to that of Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy and Jason Day -- golf's modern Big Three.

Nicklaus' take? That they all approach and win the game differently, just like he did.

"Jason approaches the ball by pretty much putting it up in the air. Rory...basically overpowers the golf course. And Jordan...what a short game," Nicklaus said.

"When I won...there were weeks where I won with my short game and weeks where I won with my long game," he continued. "Do I see some of myself in these guys? Yeah. But do I see them having to do what I did too, which was play different ways to win. You don't always win the same way."

The Big Three will go head to head this week at the Memorial for the first time since the Masters. No doubt Jack will be watching to see which way the biggest names in golf try to win at his place.
