Ian Poulter is talking about Chambers Bay again, ironically saying he will not be discussing the 2015 U.S. Open course at all during the week of the event. He said so in a string of tweets Thursday afternoon.
He started by claiming his views on the course “are yet to happen” and that he won’t make those views public until he holes his final putt. However, Poulter continued replying to one of his followers that he “can’t talk the truth without pissing people off.”
This comes just six weeks after Poulter made clear that he had heard the course was “a complete farce” in late April.
Ok my views on the @usopengolf course are yet to happen. I will let you all know what I think after I holed my last putt. Until then— Ian Poulter (@IanJamesPoulter) June 11, 2015
I will not be discussing the Open course with anyone so it will be quite on Twitter next week. Twitter comp results coming after Gym session— Ian Poulter (@IanJamesPoulter) June 11, 2015
I can't talk the truth without pissing people off. I'm letting the PC folks take over next week. https://t.co/XDf99O1env— Ian Poulter (@IanJamesPoulter) June 11, 2015
