Ian Poulter and Ted Bishop have a history. It sparked up once again on Sunday night.

Bishop was the most recent PGA of America president, but was removed from the position after he sent a tweet calling Poulter a "lil girl" after Poulter had criticized Nick Faldo's Ryder Cup captaincy. On Sunday, Bishop sent another tweet saying, "Rickie Fowler - the legend is made. Only one over rated player left......." in response to a Sports Illustrated anonymous player poll that named Poulter, along with Rickie Fowler, as the most overrated players in golf.

Poulter didn't lay up in his response.

"Oh Ted Ted Ted..... I thought you learnt you lesson the last time. Obviously not."

Added to the end of the tweet were 10 trophy emojis, which one can reasonably deduce is a reference to Europe's Ryder Cup dominance over the United States in Poulter's tenure on the team.

Bishop clarified his initial tweet after Poulter's response: "I guess my sarcasm on the "over rated" poll went right over some people's head like @IanJamesPoulter. Fowler proved it was a farce. #relax"

We all eagerly await Round 3.
