Tiger Stays Hot at Quicken Loans National
By Coleman McDowell

Tiger Woods is trending up. Or is he?

For the first time in ages, Woods was in contention at a tournament after opening the Quicken Loans National with rounds of 68 and 66. On Saturday, he tumbled down the leaderboard with a 2-over 74 but rebounded with a Sunday 68 to finish in a tie for 18th, his best finish since the Masters.

What does this mean? We really don't know. Woods has shown flashes of brillance this season, but it's never been sustained. And on the biggest stages this summer (Chambers Bay and St. Andrews), Woods has failed to sniff the weekend. In two weeks, he'll tee it up at Whistling Straits in the PGA Championship. How will ther 14-time major champion fare? We want to hear from you. Let us know your opinion in the poll below.
