The cross-Atlantic trek proves interesting for many North American golfers every July for the British Open. This July is no different, especially for Canadian golfer Graham DeLaet.
DeLaet’s bag struggled to make the trek to St. Andrews, arriving much later than the golfer himself. It was so late that Titleist even provided him a spare bag on Monday while he waited for his clubs so he could practice on the Old Course.
According to DeLaet’s Twitter account, his clubs finally arrived in their travel bag early Tuesday afternoon. What awaited him inside the travel bag, however, was quite the surprise.

Apparently, the rustic looking bag had taken a hit from a protein powder explosion during the travel. Nonetheless, DeLaet had some fun with the circumstances and a photo shared on Twitter.
Carry it in that bag every week of the year, but it was a protein powder explosion, not this.... pic.twitter.com/T6NzboPIYn— Graham DeLaet (@GrahamDeLaet) July 14, 2015
