Canadian Graham DeLaet is playing in his National Championship this week at the RBC Canadian Open at Glen Abbey. But what should have been a joyous occasion turned ugly during the first round on Thursday.

Delaet -- who withdrew from the Memorial and took a break from golf due to extreme anxiety with chipping earlier this year -- was hit with the chipping yips yet again on the par-5 16th. Despite being in a greenside bunker in 2, DeLaet yipped multiple chips, ending up with a double-bogey 7.

The yips of any variety are no joking matter, especially when your livelihood depends on your golf game. So here's to hoping DeLaet overcomes the condition soon.
