This week's GOLF.com podcast takes a deeper dive into the recent TIME interview with Tiger Woods by veteran Canadian golf writer Lorne Rubenstein.
GOLF.com editor Alan Bastable talks with Rubenstein about how he was able to land the exclusive interview and the overwhelming response to the piece since it was published last Thursday. Rubenstein, 67, called it one of the "most significant" interviews of his storied career.
The writer sat down with Woods for two-and-a-half hours, and plenty of the resulting interview, approximately 12,000-words worth, went unused. Bastable and Rubenstein discuss what was left on the editing-room floor.
Rubenstein also reveals what one question gave Woods pause. (Hint: It involved his short game.)
