Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson may not be at the Waste Management Phoenix Open this weekend, but there is still plenty for the fans to cheer about at TPC Scottsdale.

Italy's Francesco Molinari aced the par-3 16th hole on Saturday, injecting new life into the well-hydrated crowds and setting off a massive roar rivaling anything that will be heard at the Super Bowl on Sunday in nearby Glendale. Dozens of beer cans then rained down onto the course, forcing tournament volunteers to scramble to clear the fairway and green.

According to PGATour.com, Molinari's hole-in-one is only the ninth to occur on the 16th hole since the tournament moved to TPC Scottsdale in 1997.
