The FedExCup is comprised of four tournaments, determining the season champion on the PGA Tour.
Points: Winners of tour events during the season receive 500 FedExCup points. The four majors (The Masters, U.S. Open, The Open Championship, PGA Championship) receive 600 FedExCup points.
World Golf Championships event winners receive 550 FedExCup points. Winners of additional events receive 300 FedExCup points.
Qualifications: The playoffs start with the top 125 players, determined by points standings.

Tour Championship – East Lake Golf Club, Atlanta, Ga.: Top 30 points leaders
Hunter Mahan won the playoffs' first event at the The Barclays at Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, N.J., with a two-shot victory over Stuart Appleby, Jason Day, and Cameron Tringale.
Chris Kirk took the title in the next event, the Deutsche Bank Championship at TPC Boston, with a two-shot victory over Billy Horschel, Geoff Ogilvy and Russell Henley.
Purse: Each tournament has an $8 million purse; the FedExCup winner receives $10 million.
