Tiger Woods may be the most elusive athlete on the planet. Or maybe he just isn’t a fan of the hit HBO television show Entourage.

After spending a day on the set for the Entourage movie—which came out in theaters June 3—Time Magazine contributor Joel Stein documented the experience in the June 8th issue of the magazine. Stein writes about the tremendous amount of celebrity cameos in the movie and quotes Entourage creator Doug Ellin as saying, “We can get almost any athlete, besides Tiger.”

The list of celebrities who make cameos in the Entourage movie is long. Mike Tyson. Clay Matthews. Rhonda Rousey. Michael Strahan. Tom Brady. Kevin Durant. Mariano Rivera. Rob Gronkowski. But no Tiger Woods.

It's not known how hard Ellin tried, or if he tried at all, to get Woods in the movie. Either way, it’s unlikely Woods would have interest.

Phil Mickelson, on the other hand, appeared in Season 5, Episode 6 of Entourage. Let’s just say Phil’s acting skills don’t quite compare to his short game.
