Dustin Johnson’s opening round at The Barclays, a tournament he won at Plainfield CC in 2011, wasn’t anything special. His fourth hole, however, was.

Johnson sat out of Wednesday’s pro-am because of illness but looked fairly healthy Thursday. On the 326-yard, par-4 fourth hole—basically a par 3 for DJ—he blasted a tee shot down the middle that, after a couple of nice bounces, came to rest only eight feet from the hole. Johnson would convert the putt for eagle.

Johnson finished with an even-par 70, good for a share of 50th place at 4 p.n. ET. A few more holes like that over the weekend and DJ might be able to wash some 2015 heartbreak away with a Barclays victory and a potential run at the FedEx Cup title.
