Although it was the first time in more than six years that Padraig Harrington reached the winner’s circle on the PGA Tour, it wasn’t a completely shocking sight for golf fans to see the Irishman hoist the Honda Classic trophy Monday.

Harrington has won five other times in his Tour career—including the 2005 Honda Classic —and even more than that on the European Tour. He's also a three-time major champion after victories in the 2008 PGA Championship and back-to-back wins in the 2007 and 2008 British Open.

What was shocking, however, was the warm-up routine that led to his victory. Harrington was spotted Monday morning warming up by stepping into his full swing shots Happy Gilmore style.

And if that wasn’t enough, Gilmore also had a large blue rubber band wrapped around his knees, making his Gilmore-style warm-up only slightly less Gilmore-like.

The warm up is by no means completely new for Harrington. He’s done it in the past and may continue to use it in the future. Right now, the success rate is certainly high.
