Charles Barkley many have finally found a cure for his dreadful golf swing.

Playing at the American Century Classic in Lake Tahoe, with video via TMZ, Barkley had an audience surrounding the 10th tee box. Normally, his jittery, clunky swing garners plenty of laughs. This time, it earned plenty of applause.

Moments after contact, Barkley flinches, almost looking shocked at the presumably decent shot he hit. The crowd continues to cheer Barkley on as he taps his chest with bravado.

It was a nice change of pace for him at the event. According to TMZ, Barkley has finished in last place at the event five times. After one round, though, his score is 18 points better than 55-year-old model and actress Kim Alexis.
