Brooks Koepka's Drive Lands on Thomas Pieters' Father's Backpack

Ryder Cup Saturday in 54 Seconds
Jeff Ritter recaps a crazy Ryder Cup Saturday from Hazeltine in under a minute.

A wildly odd bounce brought opponents Brooks Koepka and Thomas Pieters closer Saturday afternoon. Or rather, Koepka and Pieters' father.

Koepka's drive on the par-4 5th missed the fairway and tracked toward Pieters' dad. It hopped in the rough and settled nice and cozily on the upper part of Pieters’ dad’s backpack, while the man was standing. This is not the type of thing you can make up on Saturday of the Ryder Cup, and Pieters' sister certainly appreciated it.

Meanwhile, Pieters the golfer put the icing on the cake with his clubs:

That putt was for eagle and a victory on the hole. Tough luck, America.
