While You Were Sleeping: What You Missed Saturday Morning

Day 2 of the British Open in 44 Seconds
Jeff Ritter recaps a rainy second round at St. Andrews.

If you spent your Saturday sleeping in, you're in luck. You haven't missed much action. Round 2 was restarted at 7 a.m., and players were promptly pulled off the course after one hole was completed due to winds blowing balls on the putting green. The R&A has announced that the intention is to resume play at 6 p.m. local (1 p.m. EST) and finish the second round. Then, the plan is to play the third round on Sunday and the final round on Monday.

This, of course, could all change, but that's where we stand now.

Here's a recap of what happened this morning.

It's Windy

And that's an understatement.

Here's Louis Oosthuizen's ball being pushed by the wind while he's trying to putt today.

Ted Scott, Bubba Watson's caddie, was updating us on how the players were handling today's news.

Lee Westwood, Ian Poulter and Darren Clarke were all sitting together waiting out the wind delay and entertained the masses on Twitter.

It's Really Windy
