Golf Channel analyst Brandel Chamblee has some of the strongest opinions in the golf world, at times to the dismay of the professional golfers he covers.
In short, Chamblee isn't afraid to say what he thinks.
As it turns out, he's also not afraid to show his sensitive side, and it's passion that truly moves him. In an interview with GOLF's Jessica Marksbury for GOLF LIVE on Tuesday, Chamblee got emotional discussing an argument he had with his favorite on-air sparring partner, Frank Nobilo. The argument Chamblee references was over the infamous illegal drop Tiger Woods committed on the 15th hole of the 2013 Masters.
From the interview:
"At noon, (Nobilo) came in and sat down and he brought a perspective that I had not thought of. I remember, he was on the air and he was speaking. And it was ... it was just beautiful. I just thought 'that's a great mind.' And to see someone with that passion ... you know, I remember thinking 'He's doing his job.' ... When I see someone, in anything, that is passionate about what they're doing, it moves me. And he is and that's why I love working with him."
