The pros won't be the only golfers teeing it up at Hazeltine this week.
The PGA of America will host a Ryder Cup celebrity match on Tuesday featuring faces and names from the United States and Europe competing in a nine-hole scramble.
Bill Murray will star for the American team. The Caddyshack actor is an avid golfer and fan favorite at the PGA Tour’s Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
Murray will be joined by Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps, musician Huey Lewis, pro surfer Kelly Slater, actor Kurt Russell, former pro hockey player Jeremy Roenick, actor Rob Riggle and chef Todd English.
Niall Horan stands out for the Europeans. The former One Direction band member started a golf management company this year and once caddied for Rory McIlroy at the Masters Par-3 Contest in 2015.
Horan will be joined by former pro soccer player Andriy Shevchenko, chef Jose Andres, Hall of Fame tennis star Martina Navratilova, television producer Nigel Lythgoe, former sprinter John Regis, former pro soccer player Alessandro Del Piero and former rugby player Paul O’Connell.
