NormNorm Macdonald’s Twitter followers know that the comedian and former Saturday Night Live star is a passionate golf fan. Now, the rest of the Internet knows it too.

Macdonald published his first golf column on Thursday for ESPN's Like his golf tweets, Macdonald’s “2013 PGA Tour Year in Preview” column plays it pretty straight, although he gets in a colorful description of Dustin Johnson’s 2010 season when Johnson blew chances to win the U.S. Open and the PGA Championship.

DJ was injured most of last year and couldn't do much. And in 2010, when he had his best chance to break out, Dustin was more snakebit than a Pentecostal minister with palsy.

PS: Norm's editor Simmons takes 100% of the blame for changing "the Open" to "The US Open" in 2nd graph, we are fixing. (It was British.)
