NBA legend and pro-am regular Michael Jordan caused a stir at an upscale Miami golf club when he refused to adhere to the club's dress code. According to a report by the New York Post's Page Six, Jordan was made aware on the 12th hole that his cargo shorts violated club rules after members at La Gorce Country Club complained about Jordan's attire. Jordan declined an offer to go back the clubhouse and change, and a club source says Jordan won't be invited back.
Page Six confirmed the report with a rep for Jordan:

“Michael Jordan did wear cargo pants . . . He had been there many times before and had worn cargo pants previously, and had never been made aware that he was violating any dress code. This time, he was made aware of the violation on the 12th hole, and at that point . . . he did refuse to interrupt his game, and return to the clubhouse and change. We were not aware that he is not allowed to return to La Gorce. I guess it’s their loss — as MJ is a great golfer, and a great guest."
