Chubby Chandler's stable of golfers have a new home in professional golf's hottest community.
Lee Westwood, Louis Oosthuizen, Charl Schwartzel and Darren Clarke will all make Old Palm Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., their home course, and Westwood, Oosthuizen and Schwartzel have also bought houses at Old Palm, according to a press release from the club and International Sports Management (ISM).
"We are excited to welcome Lee, Louis, Charl and Darren to Old Palm," said Timothy Bright, senior vice president with Clarion Partners, Old Palm's owner/operator. "This group has collected three major championships, 80 wins world-wide, and could literally live anywhere in the world. ISM selecting Old Palm as its North American home is a tremendous honor."
Chandler, the founder of ISM, said: "With its world-class golf amenities, club and convenient location, Old Palm is the ideal location for our North American headquarters."
Chandler's most famous ex-client, Rory McIlroy, also lives in the Palm Beach area, as does Tiger Woods.
