The Tour Championship may never see the sun this week. The Atlanta area has been plagued by torrential rainstorms for the past week, causing floods, road closures, school cancellations and two fatalities, according to CNN. Stewart Cink tweeted on Monday morning, "It's rained so
much around ATL that many school systems are delayed or cancelled
today. And East Lake closed all day -- range and course."A call to the pro shop at East Lake, where the final leg of the FedEx Cup playoffs will be played this week, revealed that the range was actually open Monday and a few players were out practicing, but the course was off limits. The weather forecast for the week is foreboding, with thunderstorms predicted every day through Sunday. The Tour Championship is scheduled to begin Thursday.
