Mercedes is out as sponsor of the season-opening event formerly known as the Mercedes Championship, a winners-only perk that kicks off the tour season. SBS (that's Seoul Broadcasting System), the tour's Korean television partner, is in. The SBS Championship will still kick off the season and will still be held at Kapalua. Even better news for the Tour, the sponsorship deal is for 10 years."This is very special," Finchem said in a press conference. "We wish all our sponsorships were for 10 years."SBS had sponsored an LPGA event, but when that tour switched international broadcast partners last year, SBS dropped its participation.
