Asked if he believes in the jinx of the Par-3 Contest at the Masters, Phil Mickelson said there's no reason why a player can't win both in the same year and faulted his caddie for his failure to win the Par-3.
"I'd love to be the first to win them both, but I just have not ever had a chance to win the Par-3," he said. "My caddie gave me some terrible reads last year. Of course, she was only 5, but still."
Mickelson's daughter, Sophia, is now 6, and with age, presumably, comes experience. But it's unclear if she will get another chance or if she has been sacked for good after her apparent lack of professionalism in 2007. (Photo: Mike Ehrmann/WireImage.com)
