That's the latest word from the Tiger Woods Foundation, which on Monday announced the field for the Northwestern Mutual World Challenge, Tiger's Dec. 5-8 charity event at Sherwood Country Club. According to the Los Angeles Times, Rory McIlroy and Ernie Els will be part of the 18-man field in the four-day tournament, which pays $1 million to the winner and directs its proceeds to Woods' charitable foundation. It will be the first time McIlroy and Els have played the event.
Other big names in the field include defending champion Graeme McDowell, 2010 winner Jim Furyk, Ian Poulter, Brandt Snedeker, Zach Johnson, Bobby Watson, Steve Stricker, Jason Day and Jason Dufner.
