Chicken sandwich to return to Masters concessions
After a one-year hiatus, the chicken sandwich will make its triumphant return to Augusta National concession stands in two weeks, according to the Augusta Chronicle.
The chicken sandwich was ditched last year in favor of a healthier grilled chicken wrap. The time away from the course hasn't changed the sandwich, which will be served cold and cost hungry patrons just $3. Pair it with a beer, and the total rises to a still-budget-friendly $6.
Two hours away at the Georgia Dome, a hot dog and beer at an Atlanta Falcons game costs more than double at $12.50.
The food is no braai, the South African-style barbecue of pork, lamb chops, chicken, steaks and sausage that 2011 Masters winner Charl Schwartzel served at last year's Champions Dinner, but it will have to do. Defending champ Bubba Watson has not announced his menu for this year's dinner. REALTED: 2013 Masters Preview
