Arnold Palmer taken to hospital in Orlando
Arnold Palmer, host of this week's PGA Tour stop at Bay Hill, his resort in Orlando, was taken to the hospital today because of concerns about his blood pressure.
Alastair Johnston, COO of Arnold Palmer Enterprises, told members of the media that Palmer's blood pressure had been fluctuating and had been monitored all day. Shortly before the end of play, his blood pressure was at a level that concerned the doctor who was testing him, so he went to the hospital for observation, Johnston said.
Palmer's condition was improving and no one was overly concerned, Johnson added.
