77-year-old sinks 50-foot putt, wins $10,000

While many people in the country are struggling through the recession this year, one lady has a little extra cash to fix up her house with.

This weekend, 77-year-old Norma Clark of Brigham City, Utah, hit a 50-foot put to win $10,000 at Thanksgiving Point Golf Course near Lehi, Utah.
The putt was part of a contest put on by a local TV station, which filmed the event. From March 31 to Aug. 25, one person a week gets the opportunity to hit the 50-footer. Clark is the first person to make the putt this year.
Check out the footage of the winning putt, including the fantastic call by KSL sports anchor Rod Zundel, below.
