Mickelson taken to urgent care facility after round
The Golf Channel reported on Sunday that following his third round,
Phil Mickelson was taken to Baptist Health Urgent Care, suffering heat exhaustion and mild dehydration. He was experiencing body shakes and complained of feeling very ill during his round. At the health center he was administered IV
fluids for more than 2 hours.
The Golf Channel also reported that they learned via text that he
was feeling "somewhat better" today, and should be okay for his round.
Phil Mickelson is tied for the lead at Doral at 16 under par and
is scheduled to tee of in the final round of the WGC-CA Championship with co-leader Nick Watney at 2:45 p.m. EST.
