Apparently, there's a large audience of hackers who are fascinated by a swing worse than their own. Last Monday's premiere episode of Golf Channel's The Haney Project, in which instructor Hank Haney attempts to retool former NBA star and current TNT hoops analyst Charles Barkley's notoriously herky-jerky game, attracted more than 800,000 viewers.  That made it the channel's highest-rated show of 2009 other than Golf Central and tournament coverage. Particularly impressive is that The Haney Project held its own against formidable network competition that included CBS's hit sitcom Two and a Half Men. (There's no truth to the rumor that Hank and the Chuckster will be adding a teenage son to their cast.)
