If we are honest with ourselves, the thought crossed some of our minds that Tiger Woods might have been milking his injury during the U.S. Open. Good for Kenny Perry, the 2008 Memorial champion, who admitted today - when he didn't have to - that he was one of those who initially thought Woods was embellishing the pain in his left knee. "Watching him, I thought it was more drama than actually being hurt," Perry said today during a news conference at the Travelers Championship in Cromwell, CT. "Now, to hear that he's got a torn ACL and a stress fracture, for a man to endure all that, it's pretty incredible what he accomplished." It's also pretty incredible that Perry said this to a room full of sportswriters. Kudos, Kenny, for being honest.
