Phil Mickelson
It's natural for a rivalry to exist between No. 1 and No. 2, but Mickelson fueled the fire in 2003 when he told GOLF Magazine that Woods "hates that I can fly it past him now." He went on the say that Tiger was the only player "good enough to overcome the equipment he's stuck with."
Although Mickelson apologized to Woods and his club maker, the two have never been chummy. When paired together at the 2004 Ryder Cup, Woods was visibly disappointed and frustrated by Mickelson's inconsistent play.
