BMW PGA Championship
Paul Casey is the only player with three victories in 2009: BMW PGA Championship, Abu Dhabi and Shell Houston Open. After starting the year 41st in the World Rankings, Casey has replaced Sergio Garcia in the third spot.

Michael Allen is the 13th player to win in his Champions Tour debut. Allen also joins some exclusive company as his first win was also a Champions Tour major. Robert De Vicenzo (1980 U.S. Senior Open), Arnold Palmer (1980 Senior PGA Championship) and Jack Nicklaus (1990 Tradition) also debuted with major wins.
