Tiger Woods and Jim Furyk were hammered on Friday, but on Saturday morning they rebounded with a 4-and-3 rout of Ernie Els and Adam Scott.

Vijay Singh and Stuart Appleby handed Steve Stricker his first loss of the Presidents Cup. Singh and Appleby beat Stricker and Hunter Mahan 1 up.

There were a few highlights for the International team. Ernie Els teamed with home-crowd favorite Mike Weir for a 4-and-2 win over Lucas Glover and Charles Howell III.

Mickelson attempted a shot on the 15th that involved nearly as much water as Woody Austin's now-famous effort on the 14th Friday. Mickelson needed two shots to get out, but he remained dry. Austin wasn't so lucky.

David Toms and Zach Johnson birdied the 15th hole to go 1 up against Geoff Ogilvy and Nick O'Hern. The Americans held on to complete the morning sweep.
