Scott Verplank
Overall Record: 4-0-0
Points earned: 4
Grade: A+
When Jack Nicklaus calls you his rock, you know you had a great week. Verplank's 2-0-0 record in the 2006 Ryder Cup is largely overlooked, but he has quietly become one of America's best match play competitors. Once again, the Texan went undefeated, this time in four matches, including an impressive 2-and-1 win in singles against Rory Sabbatini. He drives it straight, putts well and rarely makes mistakes. Verplank is not flashy, but it will be tough to keep him off the '08 Ryder Cup team.
