In team competitions, stars have to come through, and the U.S. Open champ is now a star. Aside from making a key birdie putt on the 18th on Friday, Cabrera didn't deliver. Friday's win with Retief Goosen was big, and he beat a gutsy Woody Austin, 2 and 1, on Sunday, but his game was erratic. He and K.J. Choi blew a 2-up lead through 12 holes in Saturday's four-ball match against Stewart Cink and Jim Furyk.
