First Round of Playoffs
Steve Stricker couldn't have picked a better time to win. He ended a 6 1/2-year drought with a victory at the Barclays, the first round of the FedEx Cup playoffs, to earn 9,000 points and take temporary control of the standings.
Stricker had a shot at the Cup heading into the Tour Championship, but he finished second in the standings after tying for 17th at East Lake.
