Major Disappointment

It was a rough year for Sergio Garcia, who showed moments of brilliance but is still without a major victory. "I should write a book on how to not miss a shot in the playoff and shoot one over," a bitter Garcia said after missing a par putt to win on the 18th hole and losing a four-hole playoff to Harrington.
His season took another strange turn when he signed an incorrect score card and was disqualified at the PGA Championship. He ended his season on a higher note, however, finishing ninth in the FedEx Cup rankings after a top-10 finish at the Tour Championship.
