This stainless steel head — replaces CG11 — features a viscoelastic "Gelback" insert behind the hitting area to soften feel. Large "zip grooves" channel more debris than typical grooves to maximize spin. There's also more offset than in CG11 or CG12, based on feedback from Tour players. This puts your hands ahead of the ball, so you drive it lower. A wider, forgiving sole helps out of sand and reduces digging on touch shots.
