"I wasn't thinking, oh, I'm going to make this 50-footer, I was just trying to hit a good putt," Scott said of his winning putt. "Actually my stroke freed up and I hit a nice putt. I don't know why that happens. But maybe I was feeling good about the line."

Moore missed his putt on 18 to keep the playoff going.

Scott had entered the final round with a three stroke lead, but a double bogey and two bogeys allowed Moore to catch up.

Moore shot a 2-under 68 to finish at seven under par.

"You know, it's a playoff. You've got to step up and hit good shots and try and make birdies. Unfortunately I didn't," Moore said.

"I was just proud of myself for battling around on a tough day in tough conditions. You know, I'd say this is -- obviously this is a new experience, a playoff and being in that position. Now I know what to expect in the future," Moore said.
