Tagged the "best player never to win a major," and needing to fend off Greg Norman and Tom Lehman to shed the label, Corey Pavin blisters a 228-yard 4-wood into the 18th green at Shinnecock Hills in Southampton, N.Y. After nailing the low draw into a right-to-left breeze, Pavin chases the shot down the fairway and then celebrates as the ball not only finds the green, but ends up five feet away from the pin.
