Turnberry
The most recent addition to the rotation of courses debuted in 1977 with the epic "Duel in the Sun" between Tom Watson and Jack Nicklaus. Two subsequent Opens saw wins by Greg Norman and Nick Price. After a long absence, Turnberry is back in favor with the Royal & Ancient and is the venue for 2009.
