Justin Leonard, winner of the 1997 British Open at Royal Troon, is gearing up for another run at the Claret Jug. Leonard should thank his driver for a T2 performance at the Buick Open, his best finish of the season. The Texan hit 78.57% of the fairways for the week (10% higher than his season average), while driving the ball an average of 10 yards farther than his season average (289.8 v. 279.8).
