Choi drove well, but putted even better
K.J. Choi, winner of the Memorial in June, enjoyed a great week from the tee box. His average drive was 308.8 yards (T15) and he found 73.2% of the fairways. But it was Choi's putting that earned him the W at the AT&T National. Using an extremely oversized putter grip, Choi ranked second in the field at Congressional in putts per green in regulation at 1.68. On the season Choi ranks 44th at 1.77.
