It's for: Better players who want game improvement
features in a traditional forging
Tom Stites, Director of Product
Creation:
"This is the perfect club
for a Tour player or better amateur.
The bounce angles are specifically
calculated for this type of player.
It also has a little wider sole and slightly
larger profile [than the VR Forged TW Blade]
so more weight is below the center of gravity."
How it works: The forged clubhead is CNC-milled
from soft 1025 carbon steel for precise feedback,
repeatable performance and flight. The shallow
cavity offers a bit of forgiveness on misses
while providing the freedom to manipulate
shots. In fact, the split-back cavity design tucks
weight (and the center of gravity) behind the
sweet spot. The cambered sole should help
to produce solid contact from various lies.
