Over the years, Golf.com has produced hundreds, if not thousands, of instructional videos to help you become a better player. But here's one tip we've failed to offer: how to escape a swarm of hornets.
Pablo Larrazabal, unfortunately, has now provided the footage.
The 30-year-old European Tour pro was playing the fifth hole in his second round at the Malaysian Open when he suddenly walked into a cloud of angry hornets (TV announcers said he did not disturb a nest). The Spaniard was stung numerous times before finally heeding the advice of his playing partners and leaping into a lake just off the fairway. Here's the video:
Perhaps the most amazing thing about this isn't the throng of ill-tempered insects, but the fact that Larrazabal went on to birdie that fifth hole and shoot a four-under 68. He said via twitter that he expects to recover quickly and return to the course Saturday for his third round.
