Well the 11:15 a.m. tee time suddenly got a little more interesting.
After the dust had settled on his second round 78, Ian Poulter took to Twitter to call Hideki Matsuyama, his Saturday playing partner, an "idiot" because of an action he claimed occurred on the 13th green at Doral on Friday. UPDATE: Matsuyama apologized to Poulter on Saturday for the incident, according to the Associated Press.
Matsuyama walked down the practice range with an interpreter when he saw Poulter and apologized. Poulter explained why he thought it was wrong and then said to him, ''No words,'' meaning the incident was over.
