HAWKE'S BAY, New Zealand (AP) — Sean O'Hair and Camilo Villegas were tied for the lead at 2-under par through 15 holes Wednesday at the Kiwi Challenge, which was halted for the day when gusts reached 50 mph at Cape Kidnappers.

Anthony Kim was 1 over and defending champion Hunter Mahan was 3 over. The first round was to resume Thursday morning, followed immediately by the final round.

Villegas said the wind was so strong on the 10th that it blew O'Hair's cap into the ocean.

The Kiwi Challenge is a 36-hole exhibition at Cape Kidnappers for players under 30.
