DUBLIN, Ohio (AP) Phil Mickelson and Sergio Garcia were walking up the 15th fairway when a fan yelled, "America hates you, Sergio."
Mickelson's caddie, Jim Mackay, walked over to the ropes and said to him, "Why would you say something like that?" Then Mickelson looked over, asked Mackay who said it, stared at the guy and said, "C'mon, man," while shaking his head.
Garcia kept quiet through it all.
Mickelson later said, "It was just the one time. We played two days and the people here have been terrific. They've said so many nice things for all three of us. It was a great two days. It was just one person and it was just one time."
