THE PROBLEM

Your drives lack power

THE SOLUTION

Time your downswing so that your left leg and right arm extend fully and forcefully just after impact. That directs every ounce of energy in your swing into the ball.

THE DRILL

Assume your golf posture, then pull your right arm back as though you're going to throw a punch. Now, turn your hips, straighten your left leg and punch your right arm like a piston toward a point a few feet ahead of the ball. That's the feeling that you need for maximum power.
