Gulbis, who grew up in Sacramento, Calif., made her debut on the LPGA Tour at 14. She was the youngest player to ever qualify for an LPGA event until Michelle Wie did it in 2002 as a 12 year old. That year, Gulbis also won the California Women's Amateur Championship.
